TEAMS CHECK-IN
- Check-in will be between 2pm and 5pm at Centro de Interpretação da Batalha dos Atoleiros, in Fronteira, on November 6th, 2024.
- If you plan to arrive outside the time indicated, you must notify the organisation immediately.
- The following documents will be requested at check-in time:

- For those teams who have not paid their inscription fee by the time their arrival , they must to pay at check-in time.
- We ask all teams to arrive with empty LPG tanks.
- Teams should refuel immediately after checking in here: Zona Industrial Fronteira
- After checking in and refuelling with LPG, the teams must go to the accommodation assigned to them by the organisation. The booking of the accommodation is in the name of the team’s main pilot.

FLIGHTPACK TRACKER
All teams must have the Ultramagic FlightPack app installed on their mobile phone and/or tablet. This app is compulsory for all teams to use during all FIBAQ 2024 free flights.
How to install the FlightPack application:
- Access the Play Store (for android) or App Store (IOS)
- Search for the Ultramagic Balloon FlightPack app and install it on your mobile phone and/or tablet
- Once installed, enter in the Flight Code field : team (your team number) and in the Team Code field : fibaq24 – both fields must be filled in with lower case letters.
With this application, it will be easier to locate all the teams during your flight and landing so that the organisation can help you with the rescue or alert you if you are flying in a direction where landing is difficult.
However, in case of need, you should ALWAYS contact the organisation

PASSENGERS
During the week of the event, the organisation donated flight vouchers to the Volunteer Fire Brigades of the towns participating in the event, so that they can raise funds and buy the equipment they need to fight fires or provide medical assistance to the population.
All passengers during FIBAQ 2024 are guests of the event’s sponsors, journalists or passengers who have made a donation to the Volunteer Fire Brigade of the participating towns.
ALL PASSENGERS MUST BE COLLECTED FROM THE ORGANISATION IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PILOTS’ BRIEFING (BEFORE PREPARING THEIR BALLOON FOR THE FLIGHT)
All passengers must be in possession of a wristband corresponding to the day of the flight and the time. All pilots must ensure that their passengers have the same wristband.
On the solidarity wristbands, the flights are labelled as follows:

The organisation will offer all the teams €20 for each passenger carried during FIBAQ week (from the 2nd passenger per flight).
The amount will be given to the teams if they attend the Closing Dinner on November 12, 2024 and the Check-out on November, 13 2024 at the Fundação Abreu Callado.

All teams are entitled to full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) throughout the event, with the exception of the free day (11 November 2024). in which only breakfast is included.

ACTIVITIES AND PRIZES
DAILY PLAY ACTIVITIES
FIBAQ is synonymous with friendship, mutual help and family.
We consider ourselves an event made up of friends and for friends. We’re all family here and that’s why every year we challenge our teams to some relaxed activities.
In 2024 FIBAQ Edition, we’ll be launching small challenges every morning, with prizes for the winners at dinner.
With the exception of the first and last activities, the rest will remain secret until the organisation posts them on the 27º FIBAQ – Informations Whatsapp group every morning.
RAMON MIGUEL PRIZE
Ramon Miguel was with us from the first edition until he passed away. And over the years he honoured us with his presence, which became an important reference in the event due to his free spirit, mutual help, friendship and camaraderie that characterises FIBAQ so much.
That’s why, every year, we make a point of remembering him with a very special award.
At the closing dinner, all the teams vote for the one they think was the team or person at the event with the Ramon Miguel spirit.
The team or person at the event in which the greatest number of teams consider that they have shown the greatest spirit of mutual help, friendship and good humour will be the winner of the Ramon Miguel Prize 2024.
